In the land of the giants: Player of the year Chris Tremlett explains how he finally found his fire

‘Cricket and height are in the genes. His father Tim played for Hampshire, his grandfather Maurice for Somerset and England. They were both tall but Chris, 30, explains: “My mum’s side is taller – my mum is five-eleven, my gran six foot, mum’s brothers are six-five, six-six. When we go out it’s the land of the giants.”’
