Leicestershire opening batsman Will Jones made a century to help the MCC beat Bermuda by 147 runs in a 50-over contest at the National Sports Centre in Hamilton.
Jones, who made his County Championship debut in the final match of the season against Middlesex at Grace Road two weeks ago, made 129 to help the MCC reach 270 for nine.
Jones, a Cardiff University student, shared a second wicket stand of 122 with Chris Thompson, who played first team cricket for Leicestershire while on trial two years ago, and third wicket partnership of 54 with former Hampshire batsman Chris Benham.
Bermuda were skittled for just 114 with former Scotland captain Craig Wright taking three for 29. David Hemp, the former Glamorgan and Warwickshire batsman, opened the batting for Bermuda and battled to hold things together with 21 out of 58 before he was fifth out.
MCC launched their ten-day tour with two Twenty20 matches which finished with honours even. The touring side won the first but Bermuda gained revenge with a crushing victory in the second.
The MCC squad includes former Worcestershire wicketkeeper Josh Knappett and all-rounder Paul Muchall, younger brother of Durham batsman Gordon, who played Clydesdale Bank 40 cricket for Kent last year.
Former England and Yorkshire batsman Geoffrey Boycott is accompanying the MCC party as tour ambassador.
